Use of Articles (Part -1 )

Image
Hey Amigos!  In this post, I will apprise you of the basics of using 'Articles ' and specifically ' A 'and 'An. Any singular countable noun that does not refer to any particular thing or person and is to be mentioned for the first time in the context must have an Article before it. For instance: A dog and a cat can be friends. We use A or An to denote a singular countable noun used to represent a class or a community. When we have to talk about occupations, professions like a teacher, doctor, hero, liar etc. For instance : Shanaya is a teacher. I want to be a doctor. I will continue with this series in my next post. For detailed information, you can watch the video below. Happy learning!

Use of Will and Would

Image
Hey Amigos!  In my post today, I will be sharing the use of will and would. People have a lot of misconceptions related to the use of these two modal verbs. Will is used in various contexts: To express beliefs about the present or future. For Example  India will win today's match. To make promises, offers or requests. For Example I will come to your house tomorrow. Use of Would  Would is the past form of 'Will'. It is obviously used in denoting Past Tense but that's not the only usage of would. It is also used to sound more polite. For Example: Would you like to have tea or coffee? Would can express annoying habits which are typical of a person. For Example: Tom would do something like that, wouldn't he? It's so typical of him! Will is used to emphasise the characteristics of a person rather than describing the person himself or herself. For Example :  A friend will always help you. (this is one of the characteristics of a friend) For more understanding, watch...

Agreement of Verb with Subject

Image
Hey Amigos! Today, I have brought a very interesting topic for all of you. This is the basic rule. I will lift the veil from the other rules of this topic in my next post. Stay tuned. Happy Learning!
